Cloud migration

On-premises to cloud migration

Take the servers in your office rack or rented data center and run them on AWS or Azure, without a weekend of guesswork.

A server rack in an office sending data to a cloud

What is included

  • An inventory of your servers, databases and applications, and what depends on what
  • A cost comparison between what you pay today and the cloud target
  • A target design covering network, access, backups and monitoring
  • A cutover plan with rollback steps agreed before anything moves
  • Migration in waves, with each one tested before the next starts
  • Handover with runbooks, or ongoing management by us

A good fit if

  • Your on-site servers are aging and the hardware needs replacing
  • A data center contract or office lease is ending
  • You need better backups or uptime than one server room can give
  • You run a line-of-business application that cannot tolerate long downtime

How it runs

A migration in four steps

  1. Assess

List your workloads, their dependencies and today's monthly cost.

  2. Plan

Agree the target design, the cutover order and the rollback steps.

  3. Migrate

Move in small waves and verify each one before starting the next.

  4. Operate

We run it for you, or hand it over with runbooks your team can follow.

Questions we hear

How long does a migration take?

It depends on size. A single website or small server can move in days. A group of connected applications is usually planned over weeks. You get a timeline after the assessment, not before it.

Will my systems go offline?

We aim for close to zero downtime by running the old and new environments side by side, then switching at a time you choose. Some databases need a short maintenance window, and we tell you how long it will be in advance.

Do you migrate to AWS or Azure?

Both. We choose with you, based on your software, where your users are and what it will cost.
